In 2024, St. Joan’s Education Society proudly joins hands with the Ministry of Tourism as an empaneled implementation agency for the esteemed “Hunar Se Rozgar Tak” (HSRT) scheme. This collaborative initiative aims to equip youth, particularly from economically weaker sections, with essential skills and employment opportunities in the thriving hospitality and tourism sectors. St. Joan’s Education Society reaffirms its dedication to fostering skill development and contributing to the socio-economic upliftment of the nation’s youth.
In addition to our collaboration with government-funded initiatives, St. Joan’s Education Society has extended its reach to forge meaningful partnerships with corporates, embodying our commitment to holistic empowerment. A prime example is our collaboration with NHPC in Manipur, where we undertook the task of providing vocational training to 160 candidates, enriching lives and fostering skill development in the region.
In 2020, our organization achieved a significant milestone by earning recognition from the Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. of India, through its flagship program called DDU-GKY, a prestigious skill development initiative in India. Tasked with skilling and placing 1000 beneficiaries in diverse job roles through both short-term and long-term courses, we embraced this challenge with unwavering dedication. Successfully meeting this target underscored our commitment to empowering marginalized communities, highlighting our relentless pursuit of bettering the lives of those left behind in our evolving society. With each accomplishment, we reaffirm our commitment to creating lasting positive change and fostering inclusive growth.
Aligned with the Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojna sponsored by the Delhi Government, we offered specialized coaching programs for SC, ST, OBC, Minority, and EWS communities for competitive exams such as SSC, DSSB, Railway, and Bank PO. These initiatives were meticulously designed to cater to the specific needs of marginalized communities, aiming to provide comprehensive preparation and opportunities for success. Through personalized support and meticulous design, we empowered candidates with the necessary skills and confidence to excel in these competitive arenas. Our dedication to nurturing talent and fostering inclusivity underscored our commitment to the Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojna.
Nai Mazil marked a significant milestone for St. Joan’s Education Society when it secured its inaugural project from the Ministry of Minority Affairs in 2016-17. Through this initiative, we embarked on a transformative journey, providing comprehensive training to over 4200 underprivileged individuals across diverse job roles. Remarkably, our efforts bore fruit as more than 70% of our skilled candidates found meaningful employment opportunities, either within organizations or through self-employment ventures. Our impact extended across the nation, with project execution spanning Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir, Manipur, Meghalaya, and Goa, showcasing our commitment to fostering empowerment and inclusion on a multi-regional scale.
Since 2016, our steadfast partnership with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) has been instrumental in transforming lives through the implementation of numerous projects under the PMKVY and PMKK programs. Through these initiatives, we have empowered over 7500 individuals with diverse skill sets, equipping them for success in various job roles. Together with NSDC, we continue to pave the way for socioeconomic advancement and empowerment, making a tangible impact on the lives of countless individuals across the nation.
We expanded our collaboration with the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt. of India by spearheading the transformative “Seekho Aur Kamao” project. Through this initiative, we empowered over 4200 candidates with comprehensive training across multiple job roles, paving the way for abundant livelihood opportunities to uplift their lives. Our partnership with the Ministry of Minority reflects our commitment to fostering inclusive growth and empowering underrepresented communities. By equipping individuals with essential skills and creating pathways to sustainable employment, we not only transform lives but also contribute to building a more vibrant and prosperous society.
